Is this compatible with EOS 80D? null

Unfortunately dose not work. Eos 80D works with ef-s lenses.

If I recall, the 80D mounts EF lenses and the lens you are looking at in particular is an RF lens.

May not be, this is a different line of lenses that fit the EOS R line. Check the Canon website or a specialty store where you can try the lens on your camera and choose the store with the best price option. I have an older EOS SL1 with EF line of lenses and no match.
