• For it to be wireless you would need to purchase the battery pack, a little pricey but worth it, or you can use the plug

• Yes. This printer has to be on a wireless network. Otherwise it accepts USB and SD cards. It does not Bluetooth without an adapter. I've had mine awhile, but I'm thinking I downloaded an app on my phone. Works great.
