How I use it:
Take picture of people with camera.
Pop SD card out of camera.
Put SD card in appropriate printer slot.
Print from SD card on printer.
After print, return SD card to camera.
I've had no issues with using this printer directly from SD, but you have more control transferring the pictures to the Selphy app first. Hope this helps!

A specific type of paper and cartridge is required for this printer to work, but the results are really good. No smudges and photos last a long time compared to traditional ink printers.
