“Does the HDMI port stay on when recording in 4K? I use a remote monitor and controls with the camera on top of a 15' tripod. The Sony cameras turn off the HDMI port when recording in 4K because their processer won't handle it.”

I have not recorded in 4K because it is too big to download. I only use it in 1080P.
