“I have a Canon Rebel t6 eos. My husband says this will not work with my camera. Is he correct ? Because I am starting out doing pictures for people & I dont want spend money I dont really have , if it won't work . Thanks for your time.”

Yes it will work. I have the same camera and bought this remote. It works perfect.

II have the same camera and it works perfectly! I am using the canon brand , not generic.
