“We purchased this camera for our church. We have issues trying to get the camera to download to the laptop that we are presenting from or streaming to FB. Do we need any specific programs in order to operate the camera ?”

• I hope someone answered you by now, but the setting is in the camera. You have to extend the display to HDMI it is a setting/configuration. Canon has it defaulted to off.

• Today when I was talking to Cannon about this camcorder they told me I would most likely need a video Card. Mst computers come with the HDMI connection but only for output, not input. (I am very user immature nut this is what I was told.)
