• Yup. Basically it makes a radio station that is connected to your phone. I honestly love mine. It costs a cup holder but is worth it to have my phones music and GPS playing inside my car speakers

• YES. This works by hooking up to your cell phone via bluetooth and then retransmitting on a radio frequency. I also have an older truck without a bluetooth radio. My radio however has an aux cable, but I when I use it I got a lot of 'noise' on it. So, YES. there is a simple way to pick what FM channel the radio works on. It works great.
