Does it curl up around edges to protect screen null

Kind of... There are 2 pieces to this case; the clear plastic backing and a slim rubber bumper. The bumper has a slight curve to it and is thick enough that if dropped on a flat surface, the screen will not be impacted, but it is not so thick that it will feel bulky or uncomfortable.

yes but very slightly. only about maybe half a centimeter higher than the screen

Use protects great around the edges. Helps a lot when it falls face down
