Yes a very small roll of tape and yes for the plus key can be used to add the same amount multiple times

I don't recall if mine came with a "tester" small roll. It uses standard 2-3/16" wide adding machine rolls which are about 2-3/4" in diameter and have about 150 feet of paper per roll. Yes, you can input a single figure and press the + button over and over without manually putting the original figure in numerous times.
