is the watch not already waterproof? null

The watch is waterproof to a certain point but the catalyst case goes much further and can keep things like sand, dirt, etc out.

I know the new 5 series is waterproof to a legitimate depth (300 ft ) I believe but don’t quote me

The Apple Watch is Water Resistant up to a select amount of meters. It is not meant to be submerged at great depths over an extended period of time but it is acceptable to use it for recreational swimming

Watch it’s already waterproof but it increases. Make it tougher for water to get into your watch.
