Yes, faint galaxies are visible through the StarSense Explorer LT 114AZ telescope. However, they are difficult to see from the city due to light pollution. Galaxies such as Andromeda, the Whirlpool, M81 & M82, will reveal themselves nicely from a dark sky site away from city lights.

On a clear night I can easily see the rings of Saturn and some of the moons of Jupiter. I have a large amount of light pollution so seeing galaxies might be challenging. Its the wrong time of the year to look at Orions belt for a galaxy, but it might be possible.
