• I'm sure it will not work in all garage openers. It works in my genie. Please check the garage openers listed as compatible or just call the companies concerned.

• It works with most newer garage door openers. The Chamberlain website has a list of compatible units.

• It’s compatible with most brand garage doors manufactured after 1993. The hub itself connects to your WiFi. It receives an instruction to open or close and sends out the frequency for your garage door. So it is basically a smart garage door button that makes older garage doors work “smart”
