• Because wireless means that it runs on a battery. The battery has limited power before it runs out. When the battery runs out of power, the wireless headset does not function. To use it again, the battery must be reloaded with power, thus "charging/recharging." No, a wireless/bluetooth device cannot obtain power through its wireless/bluetooth connection.
