The preset temperatures are 175°F which is ideal for delicate teas like dessert teas and yerba mate and the LED will be green, 185°F which is great for white teas and some green teas and the LED will be blue, 195°F which is great for most green teas and will be yellow, 200°F is great for gentle black teas with a purple LED, and 212°F which is great for herbal teas and earthy black teas and the LED will be red. These settings can also be used for your cooking needs depending on the recipe, and it boils water faster than on most stoves.
