“Is it possible to remove the lid?”

• Remove it, sure, a good pair of heavy pliers should remove it by breaking the plastic. Once successfully removed, your problem is replacing it on the kettle. Lid pops up to fill or clean the kettle. Removing the lid serves no practical purpose it seems

• This particular model features a flip up lid. Is it not fully removable.
