• The infuser is removable. Just stick your fingers in and pull it out; hopefully the water is not hot.

• First of all, how? The infuser shouldn't be able to fall past its securement without force. I'd probably try small rubber-tipped tongs or something similar. Depending on the situation, I would try to grab the bottom of the infuser if it's too difficult to navigate with the top. Otherwise, maybe have geek squad take a crack at it. Good luck!
