“Does the boiling water come in contact with plastic? If so, is the plastic a health risk? I'd rather not have plastic slowly mixing it's way into my tea.”

• The only plastic it touches is the pouring spout but it doesn't melt into the tea. It's safe for heat even when using excessively (when I was sick I used it all day long for my tea and my instant soups.)
