Does this get hot to touch? null

inside, yes. outside, not so bad.

It depends on where you touch it. The handles are fine, I've touched those at all times while using the appliance but I've never touched it anyplace else. I've never touched the stove top of my gas range, during or soon after using that for cooking, so why would I touch this. It does generate radiate heat while in operation but so does my stove. I've used mine on my countertop and haven't burned down my house, yet.
