Hi Laura, We recommend that your Ring devices are no farther than 30 feet from your router but the closer it is, the better the performance. If they are further than this, a Chime Pro can be useful! Thank you, Kandyce C., Neighbor Satisfaction Manager [email protected]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the surrounds that affect the wifi signal. I have one camera outside that is connected directly to my wifi. It has a line of transmission through a window to the camera. The camera upstairs was blocked by too much house materials. The Chime Pro in my upstairs family room made the signal stronger, which in turn made the sound and picture stronger.
