Yes, you don't HAVE to connect them to the WiFi extender, you can connect them directly to the router, whichever gives each camera the best signal. As long as they are all on the same network. And if needed, you can always add another standard WiFi extender. I use a 2.4 and a 5 GHz one. 2.4 has better penetrating abilities, but 5 GHz handles more data, faster. Balance as needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suggest putting the extender in a more centrally located area, or you may have to purchase another one depending on the size of the home and the distances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two Spotlight Cameras outside my house also. I also bought Ring Chime Pro Wi-Fi. Both my cameras are connected to the Ring Chime Pro only. Very important to have the extender close to the two cameras (between the router & two cameras). I have the Google Mesh Network (4 units). I have other cameras but they are connected to my home network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be sure when it says connect thru chime pro check yes. The chime conncets to the router and is stronger. Do not connect the devices directly to your wifi.
