Yes you can plug the extender in the shed. But this will all depend on how strong your home WiFi signal is. Most of the time it will drop signals
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It wouldn’t do you any good adding it right next to the camera. You should place it 50-65% the way between them. The reason is that if you aren’t getting good reception at the light, the extender won’t either. You want the extender to be at the end of the good signal so it can boost it out to where you aren’t getting good reception. That said, mine was pushed a weaker signal through my brick over masonry home then the router was pushing out.
