Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just pushed my doorbell to time it, Within 2 seconds my Chime and iPhone were ringing. You said your other doorbell was not working. Was this before or after the Ring was installed. If the bell was working, might be a wiring problem or need the diode installed. The chime is an extension of the bell sound. Also if you get the Pro Chime you have a Ring network WiFi extender for Ring products only, like floodlights, stick up cams, spotlight camera. I have two of these Chime Pros, in garage and living room to here doorbell.
