Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think this is inherent with Ring devices. My ring stuff still complains even after adding chime pro 30 feet from doorbell. In all fairness though our network is running off of a Verizon jet pack because we are in the backwoods!

Please try again later.I had the same issue and bought the Chime Pro to use as the wifi extender and it is inside my front door only feet from the ring but it seems to have fixed the problem. I am very happy with it now. I think my wifi is just too far away from the RING (opposite side of the house) so my wifi signal to it was weak. Also my house is concrete block so once it was outside that boundary I had issues. But the Chime Pro seems to have fixed them for us. Hope that helps.
