I would actually recommend using an Amazon Echo Dot (or Google equivalent) instead. These devices can be programmed to give similar alerts with the additional Alexa/Hey Google capabilities for the same price point or less. As to your original question, the chime is actually pretty loud but if you needed multiples, the only con that comes to mind is another (dumb) device that’s on your network and drawing power, hence my original recommendation.
