I helped to aide my floodlight cam. I would recommend it. I really like the chimes as well.

It didn't work for us, but, that could be because Ring Support determined our Ring doorbell is defective. They are sending us a warranty replacement... allegedly... Ours originally worked without the Ring Pro extender. I'm anxious to see how it works once we actually receive the replacement..It worked for 6 months before the sporadic disconnections. Checked power source, 20Volts, Checked wifi, strong signal... before installing the Ring Pro extender, RSS signal was - 65, that is borderline poor according to Ring. After installation, it is -42, That is excellent according to Ring. Doorbell still won't stay connected, hence the replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My router was all the way to the back rear corner of the 2nd floor. My ring doorbell was on the main floor at the front opposite corner of my house. I placed the ring doorbell Wi-Fi extender near the base of the stairs and all worked fine. Plus I loved the additional ring sounds (i.e. the barking dogs).
