No. Chromecast with Google TV does not come with local TV channels, but you can watch different contents using the subscriptions linked to your account. Moreover, you can still cast traditionally through cast-enabled apps on your mobile device to the TV. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an AirTV Anywhere device hooked up to an antenna. It takes the over the air signal and broadcasts it to the Chromecast via WiFi. You will need the Sling App, which is free. You don't need to subscribe to a package to use the over the air channels. It also has a channel guide and the AirTV has a built in DVR. There is a pay option by subscribing to YouTube TV which provides local channels as well.
