Will this device work with a hot spot (ATT)? null

While it’s possible to connect Nest products to a mobile hotspot, we don’t recommend it. To get the best experience, Chromecast with Google TV requires atleast a 20 Mbps broadband connection.

This device will connect to any WiFi network that is available as long as you set it up to connect. Obviously good signal strength is important to get a stable connection & hopefully you have an unlimited data plan on your hotspot or you could be paying additional cost for overages.
