“My middle display screen works fine when i start it but as soon as it boots up my middle display screen turns dark, i believe it works fine and records because i cant still hear the radar, if i go to the menu the screen turns back on like normal”

It sounds like it is in dark brightness mode. Repeatedly press the BRT button to cycle through the display brightness modes.
