Does this detector detect any cops that are nearby? Just random cops parked or driving? not just cops that have their speed detectors on. null

Thank you for your question. Radar/laser must actively be running in order for your detector to provide an alert. You can pair the RAD 480i via Bluetooth to our Drive Smarter mobile app for additional community based alerts, such as police spotted.

Police cars are just cars. They cant be detected any more than any other car.

The cop has to be using their radar (speed detector) for the scanner to detect them
