Negative. It maintains temp by cranking and warming up and then turning back off. So, It doesn't activate or deactivate any features or temp controls. You would preset the heater to on and all hot and then it will start up when it drops below a certain temp and heat up to that temp you want it to heat up to and then turn off again. So, using this feature you'll have your car starting on and off all night.
