I can't help with the Toyota factory auto start compatibility but with the drone mobile app connected to the Compustar auto start I can start my truck from anywhere with my phone and I can even use my Apple Watch to start the truck. If I were you I'd find out if the factory Toyota auto start is compatible with drone mobile and just add that.
