I have bought several of these things over the past years for different vehicles and the usually had me pay an extra 10-20 bucks for a bypass switch. But the last one I bought just last week for a 2019 Honda Accord had me enter my car information up front when I purchased the thing and it told me everything I needed to purchase in advance so there was not a surprise. I still believe that I did have to buy one for 10$ but at least I knew beforehand. Put it in your cart and fill out your car info and they will let you know. It is a great remote start tho. I really like the 2 way feature that lets you know your car is running.

The specifics are different from the 2006 Pilot without navigation. Contact best buy customer service and they will be able to tell you exactly what it is that you will need.
