• Here is how it works: when you use one of the kit's remote fobs to start the car, the doors will lock and you will have to unlock the driver's door with any one of the fobs. But unless you have your OEM fob with you, when you get in the car and touch the brake, t he engine will shut down. You must use the OEM fob to operate the vehicle.
