• It depends on the vehicle, but yes this generally covers most domestic vehicles and Japanese / Korean. It doesn’t cover many German cars without losing a key or install.

• Depends on the vehicle really. In a lot of applications this product would negate the need to wrap a key for a remote start, though there are some vehicles like newer Audi's that still require a key wrap.
