I have a Compustar system installed in my 2008 Ford Escape by Best Buy, including auto start. I want to upgrade the key fob to the one that works with the phone app. I was told you would need to upgrade the antenna. Will this work as an upgrade? null

There is an upgrade kit that comes with a DRONE and then you will need to install the DRONE MOBILE app on your phone.  So you will need to buy and have the DRONE installed

When you upgrade the key fob it comes with the upgraded antenna so your old fobs won’t work anymore that’s really the downfall
