- Answer This is just a remote. This is one part of a system which you need the brain unit to connect to your car then this remote connects to the brain unit. An alarm and mobile phone app can also be added to system which also connects to the brain unit.

- Answer I do not own a VW or 2014 Jetta. The Compustar Q9 will start your car from a distance. However to drive your vehicle, common sense dictates that if your vehicle requires a factory key FOB, or a physical key inserted, you will need your key fob or physical key inserted to drive your vehicle. Put the physical key into the ignition and turn it to the drive position, step on the brake to disengage the remote start and the vehicle will remain started and will be driveable

QuestionI have a Compustar system installed in my 2008 Ford Escape by Best Buy, including auto start. I want to upgrade the key fob to the one that works with the phone app. I was told you would need to upgrade the antenna. Will this work as an upgrade?

- Answer There is an upgrade kit that comes with a DRONE and then you will need to install the DRONE MOBILE app on your phone. So you will need to buy and have the DRONE installed
