yes top has a flip up circle, unsure how it would hold up hooked to a backpack all day

The black ring at the top pulls out for carrying with your hand but would not recommend for attaching to a backpack as it would probably snap off

It does have a carry handle but it has no way to attach to something as there's no opening in the ring. The black plastic shown at the top of the bottle actually lifts up and can be used for carrying

Maybe? (But not really). You can flip up the top ring and you probably could use a carabiner and attach it that way, but the ring is plastic and not structurally strong enough to handle a torsional twist of any kind. I would not recommend it or even consider using it that way myself. I would put the bottle in my back pack in an outside pocket or something.
