• As far as I know Contigo Glacier water bottle is only for cold drinks, not hot. Wonderful for keeping water cold for long period of time. Think Contigo has different product good for both hot and cold beverages.

• It does help keep it hot, how long varies by outside factors such as the temperature where it is.
