• Yes, it will work on that motherboard as it's a Socket 1151. As for whether or not it works, I have one on my 3900X and it keeps it pretty cool.

• Yes, this cooler is compatible with a LGA1151 socket. Make sure your case has at least 55cm of space over the CPU socket since this is a very tall cooler. Some types of RAM with tall heat spreaders can be in the way, but the fan can be slid up to accommodate.
