• The glossy one's offer better grip. I have a white matte, black matte and a black glossy. The glossy finish is not as slippery as the matte finish

• as of now, you can only buy the non-glossy version through coolermasters site

• There is a matte version on on amazon. There is also a rgb mm711 coming out soon and a matte white and gloss white 710 coming out soon as well

• You're probably going to want to stick with the glossy version of this mouse. Why? The glossy version of the MM710 is actually the 'updated' and 'fixed' version. The matte black units have been reported to have severe M1/M2 button wobble and loose scroll wheels
