“I’m not sure why when I plug in my USB stick, the only thing that comes up is “bad device”? The USB stick is brand new so I’m not sure what I need to do.”

• The USB may be formatted wrong. Some things use a different formatting than the USB come with. Just a quess though. Stick it into your computer and try to reformat the drive.
