WordPerfect word processing software is very good. I have used it for over 25 years, and I prefer and recommend it over MS Word (I do use MS Word when I am forced to -- WordPerfect can retrieve Word documents and can store documents in Word format). WordPerfect allows one to see the controlling aspects of your document (by using Reveal Codes) and thus one can better create and control the formatting instructions for word processing software (I have not been able to control these features in Word).
