The 2 plugs go into the power supply and the single goes into the video card. The thing is, I only know that the 3070, 3080 and 3090 founders editions use the plug ... I'm not sure about any other cards. And I'm not sure if it will work with any other brand power supply because I'm not sure the power supply side pin layout is the same from brand to brand. If you have a new nvidia card and don't have the right power connector for it, there are some adapters available. If you're unsure of how to proceed, it's worth a call to your local Geek Squad. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

After connecting this to your PSU's PCIe 8-pin cables, the 12-pin connector inserts into your GPU that utilizes a 12-pin power connection. If you require any assistance or would like us to verify your PSU is compatible, please feel free to reach out - we'd be happy to help: help.corsair.com -Albert
