you need to download the corsair iCUE software to control the RGB lighting. Using the iCUE, you can set multiple profiles that can make the keyboard lights do many things from patterns to static lighting. If you youtube this keyboard you can find a lot of videos.

There are many different effects you can choose, from "Rain" (where droplets of colors pop up randomly across the keyboard) to "Wave," where the colors move across the keyboard slowly. You can also configure the colors to stay still if you want.

There are a number of default special effects (some are dynamic and some are static) and if you are really ambitious, you can change the color of individual keys! There are presets and you can even do custom presets as well. So to answer your question you can do whatever you want with the RGB lighting.
