“Is there a way to mute the mic or some how stop the sound of the mic and just have the audio for the headset because I have a blue snow ball mic and I want to use that for my mic but I don't have a headset yet?”

• Yes you can mute. It has a nice red light on the mic indicating the device is muted. The muting is via button on the left headset.

• Yes a botton on the headset allows for the mic to be disabled and you can still get sound out out of the headphones.

• Yes, there's a mute button on the headset itself or you can disable it yourself through your system settings (Right click audio icon on the bottom right > Recording devices > Corsair headset > Disable)

• There is a mute button on the headset. But you can also choose different devices for playback and recording. Right click your speaker icon in the system tray (Windows 10, maybe 7 and earlier too).
