Yes, you can make it one color, one color pulsing, one color matrix, and one color sequence. You can also do multi-color of the same options.

Yes. When plugged into the included LED hub and using the three button controller you can toggle what color they are, have them simultaneously cycle through all of the colors, or use one of two modes to sequentially cycle through the rainbow. If using the hub to have them remain one color they will all stay the same color, it is not possible to have them set up to individually remain different colors with the parts in this kit.
