• You can use either usb for your microphone/headset. Or you can use the 3.5mm jack at the front ports, Or on your motherboard. Hope this helps. I can take photos if necessary.

• You can connect a USB mic through the front USB ports. The 3.5mm AUX should also support Headphone Microphone combo, but you may need a splitter for it to work.
