Yes definitely, that way if you even need more you have them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no. There are better (and cheaper) options on Amazon and other retailers. I would only say buy this if you have multiple PWM Corsair fans (or any PWM fan) AND you want more control over their fan speeds as iCUE will allow you to control all of that. Hope this answers your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd say if you're going to go with any more than 3, the Commander might be a good choice. I have 6 hooked up to it, and I'm glad I got it, as it keeps my cabling centralized and tidy; but the starter kit iCUE fans will do the same if you only have 3 to plug in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Sure, as you'll have access to lighting and fan speed control via our iCUE software. It is also convenient to have all fans connected to a singular, compact device rather than spread out on the motherboard. You do not necessarily have to use all ports to appreciate the COMMANDER CORE XT's convenience. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact support via our website - we'd be happy to assist. -Albert
