• the am4 hard ware does not work on the am5 sockets the mounting holes dont match up

• Hi, Yes, this cooler is compatible with AM5 socket motherboards (which all use DDR5 and is what you will install the 7950X on). You would use the AM4 mounting hardware that is included in the packaging.
