Does the k100 take the same keycaps as the k95? null

Yes and no. Everything would be compatible except for the bottom row of the K100 and K95 are different. The K100 is standard the K95 is not. The K100 has more options for custom keycaps.

Yes I've had both keyboards. The k95 is brown switches and the k100 is cherry mx speed. But they both use the same keycaps.

You can use the same keycaps on the K95 as what come standard on the K100 or vice versa. The improved PBT Double shot keycaps on the K100 are a 1000% improvement over the K95 and the earlier models.
